excites me, it is my desire that the viewer will see some of
the beauty and fascination in each subject of my work as I tell it’s
story.”
Sandra VanderWall is a Tucson, Arizona
resident, living in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains.
She paints exclusively in oils in a representational style
emphasizing the light source and a strong design.
Her subject matter spans the range of Still Life, Landscape,
Animals and People.
Sandra believes that the variety keeps her energized and also keeps
her work fresh.
Sandra has studied at the Art Institute of
Chicago as well as additional studying with master painters: David
A. Leffel, Daniel E. Green, Scott Christensen, Greg Kreutz, Matt
Smith, Sherrie McGraw and Clayton Beck III.
Sandra’s artwork is exhibited in both national
juried and invitational shows such as “Oil Painter’s of America”
both national and regional shows, “American Women Artists” national
shows, “Art in the Parks” national shows, “National Park Academy of
the Arts” national show, “North American Greenwich Exhibit” national
show, “Salon International”
shows at the Greenhouse Gallery,
Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painter’s national events and the
“Mountain Oyster Club” annual shows in Tucson, Arizona.
